This is a Society or collection of a huge number of plots that was set up by the Catholics of Bandra in 1893
It Consists of the Famous Bandra-Gym and DPRC Society.
In the 1980s and 90s most of the diaspora from here moved to Canada, US, Australia and New Zealand
This is powerful stronghold in Bandra notwithstanding diabolical elements who are trying to do away with it
by political tactics and other dastardly tactics like raising the taxes a hundred fold overnight.
It is because of these societies that Bandra is Bandra and still holds its unique identity as the 'Queen of the Suburbs'
Many have tried to slink into the society by either spouse being a Catholic
Others have tried to buy by proxy but the society holds firm..
