Gangahar River - It is called gangahar river around DoMohana near Sendhwa, a locality south of Jhunathi. Before Sendhwa, it is called Baldaiyya river. Near Nimsar locality, north of Tekari, Baldaiyya comes out of Murhar river. The original Gangahar river comes out of Punpun at Panchtirth, near Kurtha (about 3 kms). The original Gangahar was created as a rainy-season canal by local Jamindars.
