Petite-Pierre House (Baton Rouge, Louisiana)


This is one of Baton Rouge's most historic houses. Built circa 1790 by one of the original Kleinpeter settlers to this area, it is built of timber frame construction with bousillage infill, typical of hand-made houses of the 18th and early 19th century. It was moved to this site in 1984 from it's original site called Knox Hill on Highland road next to Bluebonnet Rd.
