Opened in the fall of 2002, the 135,000-square-foot building houses all the functional areas of the School of Communication & the Arts, along with Media Services. Key elements in the building are a 710-seat proscenium arch theater, a 195-seat experimental theater, a TV studio, afilm sound stage, nonlinear video editing suites, costume and scene shops, acting and dance labs, two film screening theaters, a complete film production suite, a computer graphics animation studio, a converged media journalism newsroom, and a film back lot.
