The colony is called Annamayya Enclave. The colony has 136 independent houses belonging to senior executive staff of BHEL, Ramachandrapuram Unit. It was consturcted in the period 1999-2000.

The colony is neatly maintainend and is away from the city's noise.

Closest railway station is Lingampalli and main railways stations are Secunderabad and Hyderabad. MMTS (local) trains can be taken to reach the main railway stations.

State run buses are also available for transport.

The nearest airport is the Rajiv Gandhi Airport, Begumpet.

  • If MMTS-2 is started, Abandoned Rail way Track to Patancheru will be used, which is next to colony.. it creates disturbance worth less to buy a house.
  • If MMTS phase-2 is started, Abandoned Rail way Track to Patancheru will be used, which is next to colony (Less than 200 meters).It creates lot of disturbance.
