New Oscott Village opened in March 2010 with The ExtraCare Charitable Trust housing partner Midland Heart and is the first of five city Villages planned with Birmingham City Council during the next five years.

There are 260 one and two bedroom apartments that are available for rent, shared ownership and purchase. There are 330 residents and 80 staff. New Oscott Village has 49 resident-led activity groups, a 185-member fitness gym and a volunteer programme where residents and volunteers representing all age groups help run the Village's leisure facilities.
