Olympisches Dorf - Olympic Village. Built as housing for the athletes of the Olympic Games of 1972. Now a residential area, in part for students (southern section).

Consist of pyramidal high-rise apartment blocks to the north and a stretch of bungalows to the south. Streets in part tunnel under the blocks.

There are four major blocks (Connollystrasse, Nadistrase, Strassbergerstasse and Helene-Mayer-Ring). The first three blocks are divided by very beautiful public garden areas without allowance for any kind of motorized vehicles.

The whole place is "Denkmalgeschützt" (conservation area) because of its unique architecture and urbanisation design.
