Hotel "Ukraina" (Kiev)

Originally built as Hotel "Moskva" and planned as a massive Stalinist Wedding Cake skyscraper with a towering spire. By the time the building was under construction, that style had fallen out of favor in the Soviet Union, and the initially planned upper tiers of the tower were never built.
