Town of Provincetown, Massachusetts

This little, picturesque town at the end of Cape Cod is known for many things. Provincetown was the first landing of the Pilgrims in the new world and the site of the drafting of the Mayflower Compact, though they eventually decided to settle across the bay in Plymouth. The town has a long history as a fishing port and an artist colony. Now the town is popular as a LGBTQ culture center.

  • Colloquially known as "P-town," it is best known as a gay resort. There is an excellent view, since the town is almost completely surrounded by water.
