After two and a half years, Sono Wood Fired left Easton Town Center earlier this year.
The Tuscan-inspired eatery at 4055 The Strand W was an expansion of the Chicago-based restaurant from the Good Eats Group.
“It has been an honor working with [Easton developer] Steiner & Associates,” said Martin Murch, chef and managing member for GEG. “They are an incredible company, and we are blessed to be a part of the Easton Town Center storied history.”
It might not be the last Columbus sees of Sono, though.
“With the current economic environment, we have decided to focus on our more robust operations in Chicago,” Murch said. “When the economic environment is right, we will be back to serve Columbus.”
