The fort is located in Ripaioli, part of the municipality of Todi (PG).
The fortress of Battifolle, near Ripaioli, well preserves the signs of the ancient structure, built in 1205 by the family acts. The erection of the castle church of Battifolle, dedicated to Santa Maria della Mercede, is due to the Family Ciccolini, who detected the fortress, lived there since the thirteenth century.
