Sunset Key is a 27-acre exclusive resort island in the city of Key West, Florida. Formerly known as Tank Island, it was used by the Navy as a fueling station. With the Navy reduction in the 80's, this was redeveloped as expensive waterfront real estate.

  • The development is called "Sunset Key" The island however is called "Tank Island", as it was developed and used as a fuel storage area for the U.S. Navy. Any USCG chart of the area will confirm this.
