As part of Kathryn's Mercy Home Trust, Joan's Grace Home provides a home for some 110 village girls who attend the nearby High School, as well as 20 destitute elderly ladies. The Trust is funded entirely by individuals, schools and churches in the UK, who pay typically £150 per year (£12.50 a month) to 'sponsor' a child or lady through KMH(UK) (registered charity no. 1129791. Kathryn's Mercy Home in nearby Devakottai supports village boys, and both girls and boys who have gone on to further education or training. It has a Nursery and Primary School providing English-medium education for 263 poor children, and funds other work such as computer training, tailoring classes, occasional medical camps for the villages, and notable village outreach work, supporting teachers in 6 villages.
