The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art was established in 1859. Abraham Lincoln gave a speech on Feb. 27th, 1860 from Cooper Union (then Cooper Institute) as a presidential candidate.

Cooper Union offers free tuition to all who make it into the school. Cooper has been offering free tuition since they opened by philanthropist Peter Cooper in 185X.

right i'm supposed to sit in lab all day tomorrow. that's why i'm awake right now. this is my 10th and (better be) last semester in cooper. it's been fun.
