English: The mud volcanoes from Haşag.
The mud volcanoes from Hasag, sadly almost disappeared due to agricultural activity.
First discovered and explored in 1853 by C.J. Andrae and in 1857 by E. Bielz.
Surface of the protected area: 100 hectares
They are still 3 main volcanoes that emanate gas, yet the number of mud volcanoes in Haşag - Mândra area is relatively high, over one hundred and the size and their work is very different. Some of them only 5-10 meters in height and the diameter of the mouth of the garbage disposal up to one meter. Some are active, "sulking", others whose exhaust paths were blocked in time became fossils
