cut off connection to mainline (National City, California)

this is 12th st junction. this is were the coronado branch of the san diego and arizona eastern railroad branched off from the mainline. sometime during the 90's, the track switch was removed and the track was dismantled/paved over in this area.

  • both connections that this line has with the AT&SF RR, one at harbor dr. another at 24th st have all been severed, the chula vista diamond on the f street wye tail track has been removed. this line is no longer connected to any other railroad.
