This building is what remains of the historic Colorado Springs Hotel, built in 1871 by General Palmer's Colorado Springs Company. Originally located at the southeast corner of Cascade Avenue and Pikes Peak Avenue (across the street from where the Antlers Hotel was later built), it was moved here in the early 1890s.

It is the oldest building in downtown Colorado Springs. (However it is not the oldest building originally built there that's still standing; the Pabor house is older, but is no longer located downtown.)

Now contains offices.
