Since its inauguration on June 28, 1857, Oudenaarde has had three different station buildings. In 1996 a completely new station was built. The architect is Marc De Vreese. The building has a corridor underneath the tracks, and a buffet. Characteristic is the big clock at the entrance. Another remarkable item is the long canopy from the entrance along the bus-terminal, towards the former station.
