A Gothic style gate lodge situated on an island site on the western side of Regent's Park.
The lodge was designed in about 1822 by Sir John Nash, and was originally flanked by iron gates.
The building is of two storeys and is square on plan with chamfered comers. It is of channelled stucco and painted stone with a leaded pyramidal roof rising to central octagonal chimney stack. The gates have been removed.
