Rampur has been a famous village in the vicinity for the market and Kshatriya living there. it has the biggest postoffice in the vicinity and electric power house alongwith water supply system. It also has some buildings made at the time of the british rule called Godam. The pakka mahal is famous collection of three buildings of raghuvanshis. In fact, the village was eshtablished around the year 1750's by the Lt. Narindra Singh, a Raghuvanshi. Later on many Famous people, such as Lt. Shiv Shankar Singh, Lt. Nand Keshav Singh have left their influnces on the village. Various sects of the society ie. hindu and muslims live amicably in the village. It also has very famous temple of Bichhudan Nath. this is a good effort to locate your village, but the description does not show it's district as well as any landmark near this village. Besides depicting old characters,the names of brilliant young chaps would have been more motivational to new generation.
