Rostokino District (Moscow)

Administrative district (raion) of North-Eastern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 37,505.
The district takes its name from the village that stood in this area before being subsumed by Moscow, whose name in Old East Slavic literally means river split.
