Birpur is a village situated over Delta of Ganga in Vaishali district of Bihar. People of this village are migrant Royal Rajputs from the Rathod Clan of Jodhpur. As assumed in-between mid 16 to 17 century they came from Rajsthan and setteled down here. They acuired 9000 acres of land in this area. One of the bigest zamindar in Muzafrpur dist.of British period named Shri Bagwat Nararayan is used to live in this vilage later they shifted their home at Mazlishpur after cross the rive side. Still his families hold majority of land in this region.
Village have poor transport connectivity, most of the roads are brick road. Villagae have several govt School and primary health centres.
People of this village has divided village in to part Birpur North(Rajputana)and Birpur South(Uprki).
