5-story Italianate residential building completed in about 1861 as a rowhouse. It was converted for commercial use in 1913. It was converted back to residential sometime in the mid-1900s. The ground floor is white-painted cast-iron, with the 2-bay upper floors faced in reddish-brown colored smooth stucco, and the windows grow shorter at each floor. The main entrance is on the left, recessed atop a black metal staircase. To the right is a plate-glass window and glass door to the ground-floor space. Transoms top the ground-floor bays. A rust-colored fire escape runs down the facade, which is topped by a simple brown metal roof cornice with three brackets. The ground floor is occupied by FYC/NYC restaurant.
