It marks the southern boundary of the Banc d'Arguin. The village Nouâmghâr is one of access to the park.
One of the most interesting sites of "Parc National du Banc d'Arguin" with the possibility to observe many birds at the lagune. Avoid to stay overnight in the village of Mamghar as the very poor population flocks into your camping site. To reach Mamghar on the most exciting way: follow the beach from Nouakchott, Les Sultanes restaurant northbound but - on low tide only (ask the locals or take a guide recommended by Nicolas of Les Sultanes). It is a fantastic ride only by 4X4!!!!
