Roman Catholic church. Designed by architect, Sir Giles Gilbert Scott (grandson of George Gilbert who designed St Mary Abbots) and built between 1954-59 in a “freely interpreted late Gothic, partly Northern European and partly Perpendicular in its origins” (Survey of London, vol. 37).
