The RCA AN/FPS-92 Radar is an upgraded version of the 1960-era AN/FPS-49 radar originally installed at Clear AFS as part of the BMEWS. Housed in a 140 foot high radome, the 84ft diameter parabolic reflector operates in the UHF band around 425 MHz and had a range of over 3,000 miles and is used to fine-tune tracking of selected targets.
