Smyrna Agora Open Air Museum

The Agora has been partially excavated in 1932-41, revealing an open square (140*140 m) flanked by porticoes and a huge civic basilica on the north side. Work has started again in 2002 and is still in progress; hundreds of roman graffitis have been found in the basement of the Basilica.

  • По пути посмотреть можно, специально ехать смысла особого нет. Пускают до 17.00. Пешком от морвокзала через базар быстрым шагом можно дойти минут за 25 - 30.
