The Nicanor Reyes Jr. Hall is the oldest structure in the campus. Inaugurated on April 12, 1983 for the Institute of Technology, the building was then dedicated to Dr. Nicanor Reyes Jr., son of FEU founder and sixth university president.

A commemorative mark is placed on the building which reads: “This building is dedicated to Nicanor M. Reyes, Jr., sixth president of the Far Eastern University whose dedication to the pursuit of truth through learning and academic freedom will always serve as an inspiration to those of us who will be guided by his vision.”

The building is designed by Architect R.G. Villarosa, which has high columns and ceilings, allowing fresh air from the green surroundings to cool the building’s interior.
