  • "The High" a.k.a TCHS. Colors are red and black. Mascot is the Tornado.
  • Very large, public high school with about 3,000 students (of which 97% are Black and/or Latino). Constantly one of the worst high schools in the state as measured by things such as student standardized test scores, dropout rates, suspension rates, etc. Nevertheless, I love my alma mater and a lot of the people that I went through it with due to the sense of struggle and "do for self" attitude that it inspired in us. Also, unlike many people think, you CAN walk the halls and not get beat up and you CAN graduate from Trenton High and go to ANY college you want. Additionally, many of the teachers and administrators do care about student achievement and safety. Yeah, Class of 2003!!!
