This buildings were originally built in the 1930s and until 2000 were occupied by Co-op as a department store. In 2000 was this part of Westgate Buildings substantially refurbished. Since that it accommodate five retail units on ground floor and provides many self-contained offices on the two upper floors.
In 2015 new hotel chain Travelodge development is planned for this buildings.
