This 21 storey building was built in 1980s as transit accomodation for Haj pilgrims who used go travel by ship then. Since air travel is the current mode of travel, the original goal became obsolete. Major current usage are the office of the Haj Committee of India, the marriage hall on the ground floor, and the mosque on the 4th floor.
