5-story residential building completed in 1874. Designed by Edward H. Kendall, the north and south portions are dark grey-painted cast-iron, with the middle of the building clad in red brick. The two cast-iron end sections, each consisting of two bays, have narrow Corinthian columns, with cornices between each floor and triangular pediments at the roof, facing Crosby Street. The brick center section is eight bays wide, and has grey-painted, eared metal cornices over the windows, some with triangular or rounded pediments on top. A black iron fire escape also runs down this facade. The northern facade facing Broome Street has the same design as the end bays sections, also painted dark-grey, but is six bays wide.

From the 1980s on, the building housed a number of art galleries. Prior to its conversion to condominiums in 2007, the building housed a sprout farm in its basement and sub-basement. There is a rooftop deck with visible plantings from the street. The ground floor is occupied by Devachan Salon.
