This is Motihari-Amlekhgunj Pipeline Complex area. The first phase of the project completed and oil started coming to Nepal via pipeline. The second phase of the project includes construction of two MS tanks and other allied facilities. Now the petroleum requirement of our country is met by not only plying the TTs into the Indian territory of long distance of more than 300 KMs but also short route petroleum pipeline from Raxaul to Amlekhgunj. Instead of TT loading currently taking place in IOC/India's Barauni, Raxaul and Baitalpur, the petroleum TT loading is take place at Amlekhgunj for Biratnagar, Janakpur, Bhairahawa, Kathmandu, Pokhara areas and AMJ region, Hetaunda, Chitwan, Dhading, etc
