Estate home designed c. 1930 in the Georgian Revival style by Delano & Aldrich on originally 45 acres of land for Gerard Beekman Hoppin {financier, capitalist}. Hoppin served as founder of the Hoppin Brothers & Co. and partner of Abbott, Hoppin & Co. stock brokerage firms as well as president of The Beekman Estate real estate firm in New York City. Additionally, he was a trustee of Winthrop University Hospital and Metropolitan Opera. Ferruccio Vitale was comissioned in 1930 to design the swimming pool complex for the estate.

Following Hoppin's tenure, the estate was used as the Mount Saint Ursula Retreat but is now in private hands.
