  • I am jaiprakash shukla , currently residing at Mumbai. Forefathers believe we are Mamkhor shuklas family. I am not aware of any of my ancestors in vill. Mamkhor. But I can provide some clue. That is - My forefather Kewal Kishen was from this village. He migrated to village Deum Paschim in Lalganj tehsil of Pratapgarh dist. His son was Krishnanand. Then his son was Ramsahay . His means Ramsahays son was Satyanarayan . His own son Badriprasad , who too expired long ago. Now I am son of Badriprasad.   • hi everybody myself seemant shukla s/o pt radheyshyam shukla gds/o late pt kanhiya prasad shukla still i have evrything in my village mamkhor friends as i feel mamkhor is not only mamkhor truly it is swarg lively present on this earth u can find the persons caring dedicated and well civilised infact as per me the meaning of mamkhor is the place where god shiv resides history is also related to this .. when god shiv bholenath was on the way to sasural kailash parwat from kaashi his first stop for relax was in mamkhor thenafter when dashrath putr bhagwan shree ram was also on the way for his sasural janakpur from ayodhya he to stoped and relaxed in the historic place mamkhore and told everybody that this is the actual swarg on this earth ..... pranam , vandan aur naman hai is pavitr mamkhor ki dharti ko .

  • My ancestors also belong to Maamkhor. Our family first migrated to Basti U.P. many years back and later to Indore M.P and it is now spread as far as USA. The Shukla family are one of the most refined people in the world, in their profession, outlook and above all, as noble human beings. I am proud of my family's rich and liberal heritage. I am already feeling joy to see this place on the map and wish I will be able to visit this place at least once sometime in my life time. The Shukla's are pankti-paavan and of top three houses among Brahmins. No doubt, their place of abode, Maamkhor, has to be a blessed place!

  • There is a place SHUKLA-CHHAPRA in eastern flank of Ballia District in U.P. It is a small village of shuklas of Mamkhor origine. One of our Great great grand father GHINAHU SHUKLA migrated and settled here. Going by ancestral trees, he migrated in early 19th century. I have found people of Mamkhor origin in Vaishli and Champaran etc in Bihar & Midnapur (W. Bengal) also. I like to know more about mamkhor shukla and also like to visit the place of our ancestors but for no connection with the people residing in Mamkhor . I would be delighted if some one come forward among us to take me to that holy place so that I could meet, interact and spend a few moments with our very own family members.

  • Please mention your father/grandfathers' name to get more details.Please inform. Ghanahu shukla had 03 sons named Ramratan, Rambakash and Sanman. Later it became TEEN PATTI. Thereafter, Rambakash to which I belong, had 04 sons, Shridayal, Raghubardayal, Bhawanidayal & gouridayal. It is khown as 'Choubhaiya'. Shridayal to which I belong had only son Mahabir, then only Basawan, then again only Radhamohan,. Rahdamohan was my grand father. As for as I remember the offsprings of Sanman Shukla are living in Varanasi but I have not got opportunity to meet them. Please Relate and research.

  • Hello, I am Manish kr Pandey, from Bhagalpur, Bihar. My forefathers migrated from Momkhor village to Rampur Dighar, Baliya, UP very long. Till then we were Shuklas, Garg gotra. But in 1857, my forefathers migrated from Baliya to Bhagalpur and became here Pandey. But it's great to meet the people of our native place. If it becomes possible, I would like to visit my motherland at least once.
