4-story residential building completed sometime around the 1870s. It is clad in beige-painted brick above a metal-and-glass storefront with a blue canvas box awning. The east facade on the avenue has three bays of windows; the south bay has had small bathroom windows installed in place of the original regular-sized windows. The two north bays have projecting metal sills and cornices. The north facade on 45th Street has five bays of windows, three at the east end and two on the west, also with sills and cornices. A white metal fire escape with wide landings spans the facade. The west elevation has two bays of windows, and a large metal vent pipe at the south end. The two main facades are crowned by a brown metal roof cornice with brackets and panels. There is an array of cellular antennae at the east end of the roof. The ground floor is occupied by 45 Deli.
