Mundamveli cituated less than 1 KM east of Arabian sea cost. It is an residential area. Mostly peoples from Latin Catholc community. There is one church known as St. Louis church. And also there are St.Louis Lower Primary,Upper Primary and High SChools. There is one famous club in olden time knows as Athletic Sports Club. It is a club of Mundamveli sprotsmen. But new generation did not show the much dedication in that the sports club is not functiong well as at now. There were sports meet in Deccember 25th every year and rolling trophy of Anthechan memorial Vollyball match also. In mundamveli lot of artists for Chavittu Nadakam (a kind of drama in action of steps)and Parichumuttu Kally (a kind of play with sward in one hand in other hand blocker and sing the song of st.Jacob and play in stepes).
