College of Chinese Language & Culture, Jinan University (Guang Zhou City (廣州市 廣東省))

The College of Chinese Language and Culture of Jinan University was founded in 1953 to offer programs of Chinese language & culture, as well as pre-university courses to overseas students. The College was conferred as the “National Base of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language” by the Education Ministry, as well as the “Overseas Chinese Education Base” by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. The College is also one of the ten key institutions that facilitate Chinese teaching in neighbouring countries under the guidance of the office of Chinese Language Council International. The College has become the biggest in scale and the greatest in strength for offering programs of teaching Chinese as a second or foreign language and overseas Chinese education in South China .
