In 1917, Dredge No. 9, constructed by the Yuba Construction Co., of Marysville, CA. in 1911, was brought from the Klondike to Murray via the Idaho Northern Railway to dredge Prichard Creek for placer gold. The dredge was abandoned in place in the 1930's and its remains could still be seen 40 years later.
