This hill is seen from far away. Thailand's King stays here for a few weeks in September and October. Then there are soldiers everywhere and security is tight. Outside that time you may visit the nicely upkept compound. South of the palace there are Muslim vendors selling local batic and crafts. Private property reaches close to the beach, but the narrow beach is public land. Tourist are found seldom here. |
