5-story mercantile building originally completed around 1890 as a townhouse. At the mid-1900s a 2-story, projecting commercial storefront was installed at the base, which has since been remodeled several times. It currently is faced in dark-grey-painted stone with a large double-height opening of 3-over-3 glass panes (with glass double-doors in the middle-lower square), revealing a mezzanine level inside at the 2nd floor. The entire opening is offset to the north, with a small doorway to the upper floors at the south end of the ground floor.

The upper floors are set back and faced in brown smooth-stucco. Each floor has three bays of single-windows with dark-grey stone sills. The facade is crowned by a black metal roof cornice with console brackets, modillions, dentils, and panels, with a sizable dent near the south end. The lower two levels are occupied by Roast Kitchen.
