This is the site of Creagan Station, part of the former Ballachulish Branch of the Caledonian Railway,

Opened on 24th August 1903 and closed on 28th March 1966, the station and platform is fully intact and is contained within a small development of holiday chalets. It was the only station on the branch to feature an island platform, being accesed by means of a pedestrian underpass under the down (Ballachulish-bound) line. The station is in a good state of repair and can be seen clearly from the main road.
