Centerville is a Bourbon county village located at the junction of US 460 and KY 353 about seven miles west of Paris near the Scott and Fayette county lines. It was named for its location between Lexington, Paris, Georgetown, and Cynthiana. A Centerville post office operated from 1828 until 1909. The elevation is 961 feet. Centerville appears on the Ford U.S. Geological Survey Map. Fayette County is in the Eastern Time Zone (UTC -5 hours).
