  • I LOVE U MY SCHOOL.......
  • I studied in Robert Money Technical High School from Primary level to S.S.C. level(11th Standard) and passed in the year 1961. In those days the school was reputed for its discipline and sports like cricket. Our principal Mr. C.A.Christie was gentle but firm and he maintained certain standards. Over the years, the school has degenerated due to lack of maintenance of buildings. I feel sorry for the condition of the more than 150 year old Pipal Tree in the middle of school compound which is being slowly poisoned as per newspaper reports. We hesitate to donate money directly to school management for fear of misuse of funds by the present school management.
  • We had very good teachers like Mr. Kodkani, Mr. Dadarkar, Mr. Musale, Mr.Naik, Mr. Patil, Mr.Ahale, Mr.Narvekar,Mr. Dhage, Mr. Kamble,Mr.Sathe, Miss Kulkarni,Miss Dighaskar, Miss Thombre,Miss Esther, Mrs. Kukde,Mrs. Golikeri,Mrs. Naik etc. who were dedicated teachers. We did not have culture of attending coaching classes.I am still residing very close to the school and I watch from outside some building repair activities under progress.I am still very proud of my school who moulded our lives and gave us a direction. Our school had very well known past students like Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve (Great Social Reformer), Dr.Ramesh A.Gangolli(Professor Emeritus of Mathemetics at the university of Seattle),Dattu Phadkar (Test Cricketeer),Ratnakar Matkari,Arun Bhat,Sudhir Bhat,Sudhir Patkar and many others who earned fame in their various professions.
  • I was in this school rieght from my KG till SSC. I was in the first batch of 10+2+3 format. I suffered a massive heart attack almost a year back and lost my entire memory. I am totally recoverd now and work as Assistant General Manager in NABARD, Head Office Mumbai. In my office I have one of my school batch mates (Shri Patange). My mobile no is 9867799133. Anyone from my school can call me. I remeber few teachers of our time like Shri Ahale, Christie, Shenoy madam (whose I was a favourite student) and solely because of her I secured highest marks (97 out of 100) in English. I owe my success to all my respected teachers. My elder brother, Sanjiv was also in the same school. Eagerly waiting for a reply.
  • In my last communication, I erroneously wrote my friend in my Office (NABARD,Mumbai) as Patange. It is actually Shri Harite Mohan. I am sorry for the error. Now, Harite has left a job in NABARD)If Harite (who now has since settled in Pune)happens to read this message, he may please contact me on my cell number which is 9867799133. Harite, sorry for the mistake in your name. You know that I suffer from the problem of loss of memory. You had helped me a lot during my post heart attack days while in Mumbai. I am so ever grateful to you for helping me during my illness and boosting my moral. I dont want to lose a genuine friend like me. Regards.
  • Last Saturday, I went to Robert Money Tech. School and was shocked to see a deserted look. No soul was there in the school. Not even the peon was to be seen. Totally disappointed, rather shocked, looking at the miserable condition of the my beloved School. Long live the pipal tree, our favourite courtyard during our school days.
  • During my last visit to the school, I kissed the Pimpal tree in the middle of school compound. Long live the tree which is being poisoned due to inaction by the school authorities (source: Press and media reports.)
  • Raj u missed the most hard toiling people, Peons Sakharam & Dubey, Sudhir Borkar
  • yes dear Sudhir. I am sorry for the error. GaNapati Bappa bless you & family eternally.
  • I remember my classmates of 1976 batch Yatin Nerurkar, Mangaldas Nayak, Anant Rane, Uday Rane, Sangeekar, Shette, Shirodkar, Kadwadkar, Chipulankar, Acharya, Adsul, Milind Tikale, Mantri, Vaidya, Geetay, Geedh, Bendale, Sawant. Deepak Kadam, Kumtha, and more.
