There is foot print on a rock in the temple. It is believed that one Sita, wife of a pious man named Ramdev Ata, lived here centuries ago and this is the foot print of that pious lady. After her death, her body was burnt on this island. But now a days, some of the people believe that this is the foot print of Sita - the wife of Lord Rama.
