Fushun is a prefecture level city in Liaoning province, China, about 45 km (28 mi) east of Shenyang, with a population of 2,138,090. Under Goguryeo period, it was called Shin Fortress, under Qing Dynasty it was called Xing City. There are numerous historic and cultural sites within the area.
