5-story double cooperative-apartment building completed in 1885. The twin facades are clad in red brick above brownstone English basements. A green-painted metal fence fronts the short sets of steps that span across the open areaways in front of the basements, and lead to the twin entrances. Both are round-arched, with recessed glass-and-wrought-iron doors that are framed by green paneled pilasters. The brownstone entry surrounds have wall lanterns and keystones at the tops of the arches. The eastern one has been shorn of its crowning detail, but the western one retains the short brackets that support a cornice. The doorways are flanked by tall, white-framed windows with flat brownstone lintels.

The upper floors have four bays of windows on each half, with brownstone sills, joined at the 2nd floor. The brownstone lintels at the 2nd and 5th floors have segmental-arched bottoms. The rest of the windows have segmental-arched lintels capped by flat, projecting tops. There is a corbelled band course running across the top of the 2nd floor, from which the narrow end piers around the end bays on both facades spring forward, continuing slightly-projected up the rest of the facades. Both sides have a green metal fire escape running down the middle bays, and the facades are crowned by a brown metal roof cornice with brackets and panels.
