peninsula, headland (geography)
Blue Hill Neck, or "The Neck", was one of the first areas to be settled in the town of Blue Hill. Interestingly, its history of modern development has created a series of rights-of-way to shoreland residences which follow the original property lines and highlight them in a way that strongly recalls old maps of the area showing original settler's holdings.
