Pise Weir also called as PISE DAM

Constructed by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai under I Mumbai Water Supply Project. The height of the weir was further increased by 2 meters in 1999. Its a reservoir which collects water from Bhatsa river.

Pise is surrounded by a Dam where u can truly enjoy swimming.

This wier is built to impound water flowing down the river from Bhatsa Dam. There is a large filtration plant here and filtered water is pumped to Mumbai through pipe-lines.
