Silver Creek Country Club began in 1934 as Bethlehem Steel Club, a country club owned and operated by the Bethlehem Steel Corporation. When the company began to fail in the 1980's, the club was renamed Silver Creek Country Club and became a private non-profit country club owned by its members.
